A world that’s stained black. Because of the Black Witch, humanity was forced into massive cities where all remaining light and color gathered.

Kay is a boy who wants to become a member of a Pioneer Corps that continues the effort to reclaim the world, yet he is rejected because he is one of the ‘Colorless,’ and cannot possess any color.

One day, however, an unexpected incident causes Kay to gain the color Black...
